U15 back to winning ways against South Hetton

After a couple of weeks playing the top sides in the league and giving them a run for their money, the U15 were back to winning ways against South Hetton this week.

Peterlee had a disappointing start with the bat but Joseph Spalding and Ellis Dunn made 24 and 25 respectively as the team reached 103 batting first.

South Hetton made a great start and at 30-1 in 6 overs wee thereabouts on the run rate required. Dunn then lead the fight back with 2 wickets in his last 2 balls including an important C&B (he’s on a hat-trick for the next game).

Some good fielding all round and tight bowling from Dan Greenfield, Dan Dryden, Joe Spalding and Niall McGoldrick built pressure and lead to wickets. South Hetton ended up 65 all out, and the points going to Peterlee.

Well done lads, great team effort.
